Xiangxi accelerates development of lithium battery industry

Focusing on the conversion of old and new kinetic energy, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture grasps the trend of domestic and foreign investment and harnesses the opportunity to undertake the construction of industrial transfer demonstration zones in Southern and Western Hunan. With an emphasis on the investment attraction of lithium battery industry, Xiangxi proactively connects with the leading enterprises of the subdivision fields of lithium battery industry and attracts investment in various ways like high-level exchanges, special promotion meetings and project negotiation.

In the past two years, 7 lithium battery enterprises have settled in Xiangxi. Among them, the project of Hunan Xingji New Energy to reach a daily output of 200,000 “18650” power lithium batteries and battery packs, the project of TIMES to produce 20 million lithium-ion batteries annually, and the lithium-ion power battery pack production line of CHY Power have been put into operation. In addition, HAME has been relocated to Luxi High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Three companies included HAORAN are under construction, with an annual sales revenue expected to exceed 3 billion yuan in the next three years.
